Lisa Renee Jones (a veteran author, and an award winning writer) shows off her smooth style and serious skills in this book.  Amy Benson is running from her tragic past (a part of which she cannot remember),  and whoever wants to kill her.  When she meets sexy millionaire Liam Stone on a plane to her newest alias, they become involved and she falls in love.  Amy is getting tired of always moving from place to place, and for the first time she wishes she could settle down in one place.   She wants to share her secret  and her true identity with Liam  but she is afraid that he will get hurt or killed.  She is also afraid to stay in one place too long for fear that whoever is chasing her will find her.  When she begins to have flash backs and memories of  what really happened to her family, she is confused by phrases and things that Liam knows that he shouldn't.

I absolutely loved this book!  Amy was confused but likable even in spite of not really knowing why she is always running away.  While at first, I thought that the story would be a bit weird or awkward, the way the story unfolds makes the  plot very believable.  The characters are believable and loveable.

As the description states this book is only the first of the series.  I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. (The book is filled with mysteries and  unanswered questions, The biggest unanswered question is the mystery of Amy's past, and what happened (that she can't remember) to make her start running from an unknown killer in the first place.

At times the story was confusing, and it felt like the answers will never come out or make sense, But, Jones unfolds the story so well that the frustration doesn't last.  The plot starts out disjointed but comes together quickly as the story goes along to form a smooth plausible story.  Beware:  There is  a cliff hanger ending, which left me biting my nails until the next book comes out.  Lisa Renee Jones tells a story that stands well above most writers.  The only fault that I can find with the book, is that it requires me to be patient enough to wait for the answers.
