This story by Karen Whiddon was a fun and exciting read, with lots of good plot elments to keep you interested and a secret that Lucas holds that is the key to his past problems and also his future happiness. Lucas and Blythe are likeable characters, and while Blythe seems to be naïve in believing what she sees until it's too late, I have to say her willingness to trust, even when she sees signs that it is misplaced, is very understandable when couples with a mother's desire to heal her child.This book can be heart wrenching one minute and then heart stopping the next. This is a must have for all who love a thrilling romance with a HEA ending.
